To be honest i started the first one but found it too hard going with way too many characters being introduced.

I much preferred David Eddings, David Gemmell and Raymond E. Feist back in the day.

I haven't read any fantasy for years.

Dee Snider - 'Shut Up And Give Me The Mic'

Entertaining biography from the lead singer with Twisted Sister, although (if it is true), some of the stories concerning the other members of the band does tarnish my feelings towards the group a lot!

All in all, it's a good companion piece to the Alice Cooper biography

I've only read the first Game of Thrones book. It was good but i wish I'd read it prior to watching the series. I've got the first 4 but now I've watched the show i just can't seem to get round to reading them.

Read The Man Who Could Not Kill Enough by Anne Schwartz. Whilst she does her best to cover the whole story (including the wider impact that Dahmer's crimes had on Millwaukee etc), she, or her editors, prints the records of the victims. Is this fair I ask myself? To die at the hands of an inhuman monster is bad enough surely, but to have your past dredged up as well....? God bless the 4th estate and their endless search for "the truth"

J. Hoberman & Johnathon Rosenbaum's Midnight Movies.

Any book that compares the film "Woodstock" to "Triumph Of The Will" is okay with me.

After I finished the rather poor Dave Grohl biography, I decided to read Charles Cross' Kurt Cobain biography again, even though I've read Courtney Love had a hand in what was written i.e a distorted version of the truth, it's still a good read
