I am reading Bram Stoker's Dracula for the first time, up to chapter 3.

It's a great read

Also recommended is the original novel of 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelly if you have never read it

That's one of my favourite books and one which no film has yet to do justice.

What do you think of Kenneth Brannaghs attempt Nos? I've got the novel but admit I've not read it yet.

It's one of the best post-Universal adaptations, particularly with the development of the creature, period design and staying close to the source material, but it's been so long since I saw it I really couldn't go into specifics.

I was of the understanding it was meant to be one of the most faithful adaptations.

It is probably the most faithful adaptation but, given how little most films resemble the model, that's not saying much! There are bits that I really liked, particularly the Creation, but sadly it isn't scary and it should be.
J Harker likes this.

Two parter featuring Goss as the creature, possibly a Europudding?? Didn't recognise anyone else etc.... It will more than likely be repeated ahem. The scene with the blind man/wee girl (combined btw) is a flipping hoot.......
