I think I've read everything of his pre-Rose Madder. I don't think I've read anything from him after this though (although I could be wrong).

I know it's not a novel but i found Danse Macabre fascinating reading.

So did I – I actually thought it was an easier lead, and more engaging, than some of his fiction books!

In fact, I even used it for a couple of references on my International Film MA Dissertation!

The Fantastic Four pocketbook, which is mainly issues form 65 is fascinating reading. Sue Storm gets a new hairdo. and sulks when the other 3 don't notice. This is in the middle of a pitched battle.

And people complained about the new film??????????

What with this and the way the Venture Brothers put the boot into the FF, I have had quite enough of the most boring SP team imho.

I'm enjoying Stephen King's The Bazaar of Bad Dreams.

Like all short story collections it's a mixed bag but i'm a hundred pages in and read four stories.

Batman and Robin have an altercation is a brilliant tale of road rage and Mile 81 is the story of a monstrous car. Kind of like Christine but it eats people.

King also mentions Doctor Who and how scary it is for children. When someone like King gives it a mention it surely shows how popular the show has become Stateside.

I've bought the last 4 Stephen King books on publication date and shelved them I'm so behind on my reading I'm going to give this one a miss until paperback I think.

Just finished The Bell Jar as half way through it I started reading The Walking Dead trade paperbacks #1-4 and just got #5 yesterday.

Started reading the David Lynch Masters of Cinema book, which so far is interesting but the author's writing voice is a little off putting - he has a way with words...

I absolutely loved Stephen KIng books when I was a teenager but honestly I must've tried to read Dreamcatcher a good 2 or 3 times and never once got more than a few chapters in. And then I thought the film might've been watchable but no that sucked too..

One of his I was surprised by though was Hearts In Atlantis. A bit of a departure from the usual horror stuff but I really enjoyed it. There's a film as well I think with Anthony Hopkins but I've never watched it.

Oh and currently reading Kim Newman's Nightmare Movies. It's great but I think my brain is leaking out my ears with all the information in there!

Dreamcatcher the film isn't quite as dull as the book but its still not great. Hearts in Atlantis the film was actually fairly good as i recall.
