Finished Romero's Martin adaption.

I enjoyed this but to be honest it's just basically the films script that has been fleshed out more, there's not really any new revelations to be found.

Then read this.

Really entertaining stuff, surprisingly the film seems to cover most of the escapades in the book well.

So four books this year so far, haven't read this much in ages.

Now on this, it's a bit bigger than the other books i've been reading lately, so will be interesting to see wether i get through it or end up going onto something smaller.

I'm finding it enjoyable so far.

Finished American Scream. An interesting book that goes into the life and career of Bill Hicks, from his childhood to the final hours before he passed.
Now to kick off the final volume of Lovecraft

Kevin Booth's Agent Of Evolution is the Hicks book to get. IMO.

Enjoying the Mitchum book. Quite candid tis in places .. especially about Howard Hughes . Bob reminds me of Quentin Crisp in a way ... "if theyre paying me ... I'll turn up" etc. Recommended.

Completed The Guardians, an interesting read about a mysterious murder that only 4 people know about. The supernatural elements are fascinating and its not long.

Finally completed Dreamsongs volume 1, a mix of sci-fi, fantasy and horror short stories by George RR Martin. What's fascinating isn't so much the stories (which are great), but its the interludes between them of Martin explaining when he wrote.
One worth checking out for sure.
Now reading Morningstar.
