Very nice Paul.... I definitely would encourage folks to pick up his collections. Lovecraft's prose can be a little tricky to get the hang of - most of his stories were written in the 1920's so a slight adjustment is required - but once you get in the door, his stuff is really special - this is really where modern Horror begins, and in terms of movies you can feel the unmistakable touch of Lovecraft in the likes of Horror Express, Dead & Buried, The Thing, Pan's Labyrinth and The Prestige...

Have found Chill, based on HPL's Cool Air apparently (Safecracker dvd), whilst "jobhunting" cough. Any reports? Tis only a £1 etc.

Not seen or heard of it till this post put it's 36p from zoverstocks so will give at a go, no loss if it's awful. For £1 I would pick it up

Chill is terrible. The F/X are dire and most of the acting is pants. I felt sorry for Ashley Laurence for having to slum it in this film.
