With an added bonus of Caroline Munro at the bottom of it just like the revised one.

Only problem with the rejected cover is it makes the book look like a Lee biography

and bucking the trend I like the chosen cover, much more Melton (with added Munro too of course)

The only problem with this book for people like myself is that there will be nothing new in it.

The photos will have all been used previously and anyone who has all the brilliant official Hammer books by Marcus Hearn will find it redundant.

The original cover is by far the best in my opinion.

"Our brand new Hammer book is available for purchase now, and if you order a copy before November 1st you will get your name in the acknowledgments, how cool is that?"

For anyone attending the 'DarkFest' thing...

"Our good friends at 101 Films are donating a free horror DVD for every DarkFest attendee. So if you haven't ordered your ticket yet, what are you waiting for?"

I'm not too fond of Rick Melton's overly fussy 'heads' covers of late. This, on the other hand, is brilliant.

I'll definitely be getting this. Apparently it's a revised edition of his book A History Of Horrors, which is one of the best books I've ever read about Hammer.
The previous edition only had a few dull b&w photos, so I imagine this one will be much more colourful.

If you order before the 1st November you get your name printed in the acknowledgements section in the book. I'll be ordering this, like Mojo I loved the History of Horrors book, so if this is an update of that, I'm all for it
