"Most of DS 192 is done already and it is a cracker of an issue. Here is a really early teaser, and if you are not a fan of this movie then frankly you need to get educated quickly."

I will say those James Whale pieces were some of the best articles I have read ...

Got ds issue 191 as most articles in there appealed to me, I have enjoyed it properly for the first time in ages, except for the dvd reviews which are either too casual/comedy (Bryce) or too miserable (seriously the guy who HATES The Gate & Wishmaster cannot call himself a horror fan), not professionally written at all.
Intetesting interview with the director of Blood Harvest by Waddel though!

The reviews in Side have always been 'partisan' cough . I only ever read them if I already know the film anyhow !

Have enjoyed this years issues on the whole ... some great 'vintage' articles etc.

"Here we go again folks. Son of Mini DarkFest will take place on Saturday June 2nd at the Genesis Cinema and this time we are in control of the tickets. We have a somewhat unusual double for you. For the retro fans we are delighted to be able to screen a splendid Technicolor and Techniscope print of the rare Amicus movie The Psychopath (1966), and we will also be showing the madcap horror comedy Attack of the Adult Babies, a totally over-the-top gorefest which is terrific fun to watch with an audience and will be even more enjoyable with its director Dominic Brunt - Paddy out of Emmerdale - in attendance with his wife, Emmerdale actress Joanne Mitchell.

It may be that like me you feel Emmerdale has gone downhill since Old Seth drowned in the sheep dip, but Dom is a great bloke and a massive horror fan, and Attack is being released by my Nucleus mates Marc Morris and Jake West, who will surely be there as well. You will have to bring your own safety pins but this is going to be a fun day.

Tickets available in advance only for this one. Just making up the ad for the new issue and we will get something on our site early May."

Looks like someone is planning on releasing 'Cat's Eye' and either 'Empire Of The Ants' or 'It Happened At Lakewood Manor' sometime in the near future!

"Two Blu-ray commentaries lined up for a couple of good movies. Be prepared for some interesting ramblings, or maybe not. One is about ants, the other about a character who picked the wrong time to give up smoking"
