Default Horror comics.

Some pictures of a few of my horror oriented comics. Sadly I am selling off my whole collection, thought I would post here to let people know in case anything takes their interest; but many I have already posted for sale else where. Have many others too; Fangoria comics and so forth. Also lots of adult oriented Threshold covers that crap-bay wont let me show off. So my post is dual purpose, one to show off, the other to see if people are actually interested in comic books any more?

Cool. Sadly I don't collect those comics.
One of those looks like it was signed by George Romero.

Yes the one is. Most of the others are signed by artists mostly.

Secret-Empire-0-330x500.jpg

Marvel's new event Secret Empire turns everything we knew about Cap and spins it around. Cap is Hydra !
Excellent issue #0 as Cap's plans come together and all hell is let loose as Marvel Heroes get caught up in his schemes.
Recommended.

DAREDEVIL #81- #124 (1975)

96-1.jpg

BLACK WIDOW joins DAREDEVIL in the run of the comic. This is great stuff and follows the relation ship of Matt Murdock and Natasha Romanoff.
As the story runs we see things not going too smoothly as BLACK WIDOW feels she is the sidekick to DAREDEVIL, she is losing something and after a team up with THE THING (see below) decides she needs to leave and be a solo adventurer again.

MARVEL TWO IN ONE #10 (1975)

Marvel_Two-In-One_10.jpg

THE THING teams up with BLACK WIDOW to take down the Sword Of Judgement organisation who plan to detonate a nuclear bomb in the sea.
This is a great story and an awesome team up. THE THING and BLACK WIDOW work well together in this very entertaining story.

I know I keep saying it. But they really don't make comics like this anymore.
Hugely entertaining with great art and storylines. These comics were from 1975 and times change, but there is something missing from todays MARVEL comics. The fun? The adventure?

"Boragg Thung, Earthlets. Here is a little tale from 2,000 AD entitled 'Fangs'"

Looking at the final panel, and the advert for 'Cheeky' magazine, I would suggest that this is from 1977

As hard as as I try, I just can't come up with an amusing caption for this

At first, I thought that this summed it up. Then, after a bit more thought, however, it seemed that this was more appropriate. Then I realised what the artist was actually saying tho

"Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather
Whiplash girl child in the dark
Comes in bells, your servant, don't forsake him
Strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart
Downy sins of streetlight fancies
Chase the costumes she shall wear
Ermine furs adorn the imperious
Severin, Severin awaits you there
I am tired, I am weary
I could sleep for a thousand years
A thousand dreams that would awake me
Different colors made of tears
Kiss the boot of shiny, shiny leather
Shiny leather in the dark
Tongue of thongs, the belt that does await you
Strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart
Severin, Severin, speak so slightly
Severin, down on your bended knee
Taste the whip, in love not given lightly
Taste theā€¦"
