 SHAM027 - The New Barbarians SHAM027 - The New Barbarians Last, but by no means least, here is the announcement for The New Barbarians, the last installmant of Castellari's Bronx Warriors trilogy! Once again, this is a great opportunity for those of you keeping your tin box in collectable condition to get hold of copies of the films that you can actually watch! For those of you who perhaps missed out on the boxset release of The New Barbarians, here's all the details... Synopsis: The year is 2019 and a nuclear war has reduced humanity to small groups of starving survivors. Living in makeshift hamlets, these defenceless communities have become the prey of a band of psychotic sadists known as the Templars, who intend to purge the earth by exterminating what is left of the human race. The only hope for the survivors lies with a former Templar, known as Scorpion, and his band of allies who are prepared to fight the Templars in one final action-filled showdown. Special Features: Anamorphic widescreen presentation; director Enzo G. Castellari's introduction of his films; Shameless Fact Track by Paul Alaoui; international trailer; The Argent Trailer Park – Nuns, Cowboys and Heroes. I think the artwork for The New Barbarians is my favourite. I might get this one just so I can have the artwork separate to the rest of the tin!

Not only is The New Barbarians my favourite Bronx artwork, it's also one of my favourite trailers. What do you think?

Totally agree about the trailer but for me, the Escape From The Bronx Artwork is hard to beat.

| Great film
I might be the only one here who actually watched this on video back when it was released in 1982/83. I was about ten years old! I watched it round a friends house when his dad was out. Back then a guy would turn up in the street every week with hundreds of videos that he would rent out from the back of his van - a kind of mobile video shop if you like. Ten years of age might seem a little young to be watching such stuff but it was innocent times and I don't think it did me any harm other than to fuel my lust for such movies into my adult life!
