I've just tried it in my Region A Blu-ray player and everything plays fine, including the extra features.

I've already seen it twice in HD and I'm writing my review at the moment, but Zavvi has also shipped my copy so I look forward to seeing the artwork and the complete package.

Arrived this morning, just in time for the weekend. I was quite disappointed that there was no little booklet though. It's only my third Shameless release, and I was under the impression they all came with a little booklet, but clearly I was wrong! After all the Special Edition talk, it would have been nice to at least have that, since the SE was nixed. I think I prefer the disc's face design more than both covers if I'm honest:
