Default Cannibal H on different label why?

check this out. was looking at shameless titles on hmv and this popped up

Cannibal Holocaust (2008): DVD: hmv.com

Its CH on a different label. I thought when Shameless aquired the rights to the film then no one else could release it. Or perhaps this was out before although I have never seen it on hmv site before. I don't how badly cut it might be either. Can anyone shed any light?

That's the old Blackhorse release. It uses the same cut transfer as the second Vipco release (which used the EC ultrabit print).

They released a widescreen edition of THE BURNING around the same time.

My version is the Cult Epics release that is only missing ten seconds of 'The Last Road to Hell' segment. The Shameless release has all of it but is missing the muskrat killing.

Will still only buy the shameless release. But is this version got more to it. Is the burning still available on this label?

well maybe one day, Arrow know how much we want it. ZFE roomers have been ripe for ages and still nothing. Both those releases would be amazing.

Get yourself the MGM R1 DVD of The Burning in the meantime, it's a great disc!
