Oddly enough I watched the other version on the Shameless bluray the other day. I would recommend it although I did flinch like hell during the turtle scene

Me to and the Monkey, but i had time to reflect on it and while a 100% disagree with the animal slaughter it is what it is and a film of it's time.

The first time I saw it I was blown away by how much it had to say, it really lays into media culture and it's propaganda, as a film it's better than Ferox on almost every level, but Lenzi's film is a good companion to it. Bet Ferox will be in a yellow case sooner or later.

Yes Shameless should release Ferox! Although an uncut release will be VERY unlikely due to the Muskrat/Snake and Lizard/Snake scene's...

I would love a blu-ray of Ferox and couldn't give a damn if they cut out all the animal footage

Aside from that what are the chances of it being otherwise uncut?
Would the BBFC still take objection to the extreme nipple piercing?

In regards to the nipple piercing scene, I think it would get by uncut without any problems today. If I recall, the only scene not involving animals that MAY run into censorship problems is when Giovanni Lombardo Radice threatens a native girl with a knife (or something like that, I've not seen it recently so I can't remember exactly how the scene plays out).

Well I fail to see why on earth the BBFC would object to a scene showing a woman being threatened with a knife, especially as the knife quite clearly doesn’t even touch her. It’s 50/50 as to whether the BBFC would cut the breast impalement. It’s a shot they normally would cut but the effects here aren’t very convincing (mitigating factor), so we’ll just have to see.

Guess I remembered the knife scene as being worse than it actually was lol!

Here's an alternate scene from CH that never made the final cut.
WARNING-CONTAINS HORRIFIC MATERIAL(NO ANIMAL CRUELTY THOUGH)
