Not true, you just need to seek out the good stuff. From New Japan to Lucha Vavoom, the amount of versatility is breathtaking. For instance look up the recent Riccochet vs Will Osprey New Japan match. Your jaw will drop.

IMO, pro wrestling is one of the best forms of pure entertainment, period. I could go on all day.

The award for the most original and fresh promotion at the moment must go to Hoodslam from LA. With characters like Drugz Bunny to the pissed-off nerdy gamer Pong, it has to be seen to be believed.
