No, make a new thread about your Political Correctness Gone Mad etc and post to your heart's content, it'll only be you and Gag though

Divide the country into 2 those who dont care and just want to get on with their daily grind and anyone who wants to be a snowflake or PC brigade go and live on the other side and let rest of us just get on with our lives lol .
I think you've misunderstood the 'Snowflake' insult. If you use the Wikipedia definition ("a person perceived by others to have an inflated sense of uniqueness or an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or to be over-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions.") then it's quite impressive how many times your posts would qualify!

There is another section here to talk about TV, a designated thread (What Makes You Go Bananas) for petty annoyances, and Facebook for everything else. As Justin said, this is on a forum called Cult Laboratories in the VHS & Exploitation sub-forum and is a thread about film certification. If you see something and feel it would be of interest to others, please take a minute to read what you've written and make sure you are putting it in the right thread.

It was only a light hearted comment about being being offended and people wanting to ban or cencorship things.

Because it is in written form rather than being spoken and doesn't really have a tone or even an emoji to indicate intent, it looked to be a serious comment where you had taken offence at a film distributor's commercial decision about the classification of a family film and for a film critic saying the new adaptation of Watership Down was less gory than the previous version.

I think this shows how easy it can be to misconstrue things which are in the written form and why it is best for threads to stay on topic.

True suppose bit like when someone sends a text and doesn't put lol at end then the person receiving it might not be aware they are joking .

Found a insight on the manhunt games thought it might interest a few of the gamers on here , and the problems it had getting manhunt 2 through, also states that the version of manhunt 2 on the Wii is a better version than the ps 2 version , ps2 version censored where as the Wii version is but not as much as ps2

Obscene pornography laws have been relaxed.

Instead of a list of forbidden acts, the new guidance says owning or producing pornographic material is unlikely to be prosecuted if:

it features consenting adults, where the provision of consent is made clear where consent may not be easily determined from the material itself

no serious harm is caused, whether physical or otherwise

it is not otherwise linked with other criminality

the likely audience is not under 18

I bet the Daily Mail goes ballistic. Watch this space!!!

Didn’t know where else to put this (if any of my fellow Mods see a better place, please move it)

I see that the BBFC are changing the ratings logos in a few months. Apparently making them more “simplified and modernized”. I think the best way to describe them is looking a lot like the 80’s versions, which were just plain colours with the rating in them. They’re also making them smaller, changing the height of the letters/numbers from 5mm high, to 4mm. Probably won’t stop Fabulous Films from using logos twice the size of everyone else though.

Oh, and the 15 cert logo will now be.......pink.
