Ah right, there must have been something similar in commando because I remember watching it on TV a couple of years ago and the dub was still in for that particular scene

The film "Runaway" with Tom Seleck had a peculiar edit/ommision

The line "And I want you to clear the.... room... now", which I think was originally "clear the f###ing room now", but they didn't just delete the "F" word, they moved the word "room" up so there wasn't such a big gap between the words.

Looked wierd as it produced 2 smaller gaps in the sentence which didn't synch up with his lips, and as he was starting to raise his voice it didn';t sound right that the word "room" was ten decibels higher than the rest of the preceeding sentence.

Just thought I'd mention it as it always stuck in my mind.

The "Terror Train" sort-of remake "Train" has now been added to the list of "banned movies" in Germany...

It's not bad, pretty much Hostel on a Train, worth a watch on Netflix or for a quid from CEX

Yes, that's the one.

Well, at least it adds an extra ounce of excitement when I pop it into the player the next time- woah, I'm watching something "banned"....

But what does that actully mean when the same "honor" is also awarded to utter tosh such as "A Mexican Werewolf in Texas" over there...

Aaah yes, basically "Hostel on a Train".

Always found it odd why the German film board is so censorious. During the late 70s/early 80s the German appetite for bloody cinema movies was one of the reasons Italians were so prolific in their output. So why the need to try and curtail things so?

In any case (as has undoubtedly been said elsewhere), you can simply get your uncut goodies next door in neighbouring Austria, or simply download straight off the net. Which begs the question, what do they think they are trying to acheive?
