Guess we'll just have to wait and see what they do and how it affects future film releases here.

Mind you, if they do cut anything it won't prevent us importing/downloading the uncut version, so it won't really affect us.

I guess we can rule out uncut releases of Contraband and Emanuelle and The Last Cannibals if they are possible future releases from Arrow.

Ludicrous BBFC policy in this day and age.

Only 35 people involved in the research and they were given the most horrendous films to watch. No wonder there was a reaction, especially if they're not used to extreme cinema. I despair, I really do. It's flawed research at best, and a totally untrue picture at worse. And they're going to 'adjust' their policies based on this rubbish research?

Tories are in power, unemployment on the rise, general unrest in the population....I reckon another Video Nasties scare is on the horizon....the social environment is there and ready....
Interesting to learn that what I would have thought to be removed from Srpski seems to still be in there, hmmmmm. Interesting also to see that only a few escaped the scissors on that list. Therefore negating whatever "point" they were trying to make imo.

Funny, I was thinking that they'll now demand Straw Dogs to be cut again.

The tone of this piece is a little snobby but still worth a read as an insight into recent 'research'

The M**l banging on about the same old thing. Human Centipede 2: 'One of the most repellent movies I have ever seen,' says Christopher Tookey | Mail Online

It seems Tookey is still scarred by Crash.

The readers comments are hilarious.
