No it was never banned. It was cut for cinema in 1985 and then cut further for video (basically removing all the gore). The Anchor Bay DVD is uncut.

I just added up the minutes the bbfc would probably cut from Caligula the Untold story and they would cut about 8 mins.

Have you seen Emmanuelle's Sweet Revenge, Loops?

The BBFC recently cut the film by about 7m. All cuts due to the protection of childrens act.

Does anybody, (well Angel or Vince) know if the pre cert of Exterminators of the Year 3000 is cut?

Also Severin are going to release Black Emanuelle 2 in the uk. I wonder if it will run into problems with the bbfc?

I think the pre-cert Exterminators was uncut. Been years since I last saw it.

There's more than one film entitled Black Emanuelle 2 (it seems to have become a generic title over the years) though this seems to be the Shulasmith Lasri (aka Sharon Lesley) film Emanuelle Nera No 2 (aka Black Emanuelle No 2/New Black Emanuelle). Not the strongest of its kind so I can't see any BBFC problems with it.

The BBFC cut 3m 40s from Black Emanuelle 2 in 1977 (IMDb) but since none of the reviews I've read mention anything about animal cruelty, sexual violence or hardcore then it sounds like it would pass uncut now.

Judging by the cast I think the IMDB have confused it with Black Emanuelle Goes East.

The BBFC list the film under two titles. Black Emanuelle No 2 and The New Black Emanuelle. Listed as cut under both titles (though no cuts length is given).

The Emanuelle films are a bit like the Godzilla films, they all seem to have numerous different titles making it all just a bit confusing. Even the BBFC often get confused.

I'll be interested to see if the BBFC pass Hustler White uncut this time.
