Can someone tell me the bbfc cuts to the Bloodspattered Bride? I gather the fox scene was cut?

Yes that scene with the fox was appalling, it has no chance of getting through here. How do you feel about the BBFC cutting animal cruelty, Loops? Last edited by Angel; 27th March 2009 at 07:34 PM. |

Its the only thing i agree with them on, scenes like that are out of order. Nothing annoys me more than the tripping of horses. Thankfully we dont really see animal cruelty in modern films with the exception of asian cinema.

Here are 3 unfortunate examples of recent cruelty outside Asian cinema - Hukkle-Hiccup (Hungarian) Cat being poisened and then dying in agony Piedras (Spanish) Dog being dangled by its lead over a balcony Japon (Spanish) Dog being forced to "sing along" to a song due to the application of a painful stimulus |

Ok, just the UK and US care about animals in film.

I can't remember the last time a UK film was cut for animal cruelty, it must go back may years. Midnight Express was lucky to get away with the hanging cat scene.
