How about The Host 2? Yes it's a sequel, yes the original director isn't involved, yes it'll probably be more of the same, but damn it this clip is still bloody awesome ...

This may sound a bit ridiculous, I'm quite excited for the Wayans return to horror spoofs A Haunted House. There's also Scary Movie 5, but that looks like crap.

Also, This is the End and The Worlds End look quite funny.

And then there's Paranorman finally getting an Australian release.

For me, while there are some new films I'm interested in, I'm actually mostly looking forward to seeing this:

Restored back to it's full glory with frames that haven't been seen for many many years and only in Japan??? It'll be the film event of the year for me!

If we're talking blu rays, The Burning is pretty exciting.

Also I believe work is being done by Wingnut Films on Bad Taste

I'm most excited about DJANGO UNCHAINED in January - looks like it'll tick a lot of boxes for me. Haven't been properly excited to see a film for a long time. Aside from that I'm also looking forward to CLOUD ATLAS - I loved the book and am keen to see how it translates on the screen...plus I worked on the Scottish section of the shoot so want to see what that stuff looks like

There are some pretty exciting rereleases, like Top Gun IMAX, Jurassic Park 3D, and The Little Mermaid 3D (Never seen that one though), also the 2 Crap Star Wars movies.

If we're talking sequels and remakes, we've got Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Thor: The Dark World, The 2nd Hobbit, and the extended cut of the first Hobbit, The Wolveine, RED 2, Spike Lees Old Boy, Monsters University, Man Of Steel, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Great Gatsby, Evil Dead, Carrie, A Good Day To Die Hard, and Texas Chainsaw 3D

Got to love Hollywood's originality

If we're talking horror, World War Z looks amazing.
