Because fhey don't want to pay their prices. Hope they go under. It gets tiresome reading the same stuff over and over. I don't care to see pages and pages here of the same stuff.

Yeah, it's been constantly going on there for years, ever since TT started their blu-ray releases. Hard to find any proper discussions of the actual releases!

I think Biz Eye and Stephen both put forward good points. I am not a fan of TT (Or Scream Factory.) and don't own any of their releases but this is because most of their output doesn't interest me. However I wouldn't want them to go under as they could put something out next week I could want. Like The First Men in the Moon. (Awesome film from my childhood and might just be my 1st TT buy!)

$30.00 is not that much for a disc really. I regularly pay that for the German Mediabooks, yeah, they sometimes have extra's but if I'm honest I hardly ever watch them. The difference is that when you decide to sell it, you will normally recoup your money or double it. Other discs I have paid $20.00 for I have sold for half of what I paid... So really buying a TT or CR disc is an investment....Lol!

If you don't wanna pay the price, don't moan about it just buy something else. TT, Code Red et al, are in it for money, not the love of releasing genre films. You have a chance to buy it and if you don't and the title is sold out, tough tittie. Move on or pay. Its a simple choice. But don't bitch about the Company because you left it too long.

I buy quite a few of TT's discs, don't mind paying for something I want.
Their transfers are always top notch.

No,I wouldn't wish ANY company who take the time to restore films to hi def grade to go out of business.

The fact is,they must be making a living from it or they'd have stopped long ago.

If you want it,buy it if you don't,don't.
Simple really.

Maybe they read this thread and decided to price their titles more appropriately.

I have NOTLD and Used Cars which are the only two titles so far that have interested me

I was going to get The Bounty, however this is currently tacking a fair bit of slack over the transfer so I will hang on to my French release.

The only "problem" I have with the company is the truely horrendous artwork such as Used Cars which could easily be entered into the worst blu-ray artwork ever competition, along with The Bounty which isn't far behind it

That's the only problem I have with them. Some they'll commission new (not very good artwork) and others they'll use the original poster artwork. Although, for some reason, they flip some of the original artwork covers around.

Zardoz, from pure memory, was a terrible film, something I would never buy on DVD........ so why do I suddenly really want it on Blu Ray?

There's something wrong with me...
