I picked up a mint copy of Sweet Sixteen the other week for around £8, which I thought was a good deal considering the crazy prices that some people charge for out of print Code Red titles.

That is a good price.

I think I paid more for my copy when it was still readily available and in print!

Yeah, I quite enjoyed it. It belongs to that 'golden era' of slashers, although I hesitate to call it a 'slasher' as such... it's pretty slow paced and there's a fair bit of melodrama and Native American related racial tension thrown into the mix. However, I found it a rather interesting and if it wasn't for Code Red releasing it, I probably would have never heard of it let alone watched it.

According to Mondo Digital's Upcoming Release list Code Red has a few things lined up for July 15th.
Nightmares on its Blu debut followed by DVDs of..
Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker,
Top of the Heap, (?)
and a double bill of Unhinged and Stark Raving Mad.

Now we will just have to wait and see if any of these will be available to us UK residents as per Bills last rant....
