Can't say I noticed either, but the last new release I bought was DD, which I believe has a border, could be wrong though.

Nope, no complete border on front artwork on DD, and tbh I think it looked terrible. You don't just decide to change the template after so long. Leave the border there Shameless.

I hadn't noticed the difference myself, but then again when was the last time Shameless put something out... last one I bought was Footprints actually FFoGV Blu but still that was ages ago - just release some movies please

If I had to choose, I'd go for the full border - all 4 sides. It just seems more complete. But, like others have said - the films are much more important!
