Hmmm... it's possible!

They had ample amounts of PoD though, nothing else however. Must be selling like hot-cakes! (or binned like burnt toast.)

They are selling a 3-disc boxset of King Kong for £4 though, if that makes things better??

When Killer Nun arrives I shall play the Searchers 'Needles And Pins' in tribute to the cover.

She didn't know the exact amount sold in HMV in Truro over Xmas but, according to one of the staff, both Phantom Of Death and Killer Nun apparently had to be refilled a few times on the shelves. She wasn't sure about Torso and she doesn't recall seeing any copies of NYR in there. She remembered selling Killer Nun herself because the sleeve 'looked really nasty'.

Of course they could have been shoplifted by starving Polish people who erroneously mistook them for plastic oblong lemons but, as most of the male staff resemble a cross between Mike Tyson and Jo Brand, I think it's unlikely.

cardiff saturday- hmv had full rack of phantom of death and new york ripper but had sold out of black cat (2 are on order) and only had 1 venus in furs (which ive just bought along with a jess franco box set), didnt see any other shameless there. virgin, which has apparenly changed its name to something else had no shameless at all.

for those who are interested cardif market dvd guy has a vtc video of "Endgame" in a rental box for a fiver but I didn't get it as I no longer own a video player.

so anyhow mixed bag on the shameless front in cardiff- no torso, no killer num, no black cats,

Thanks for checking that out. cardiff is one of the main stores so they should be well stocked up. I'll get onto that!

As for Virgin/Zavvi well that's an ongoing push to get them to take us on
