Default Fulci Box of Terror Question

I collect Shameless titles but don't have NYR number 1. Is the version is the Fulci box of recent the number 1 version or have they replaced these with the Fan Edition?

I think it's the original non-anamorphic edition.

It is, yeah. The 01 edition.

Wrong I am afraid. I was in HMV yesterday and checked the box. Its the Special Edition of NYR with the booklet. You can see the spines of the dvds on the side. Which I was indeed surprised at. Still for eleven quid I might buy it. As I really want Manhattan Baby, and need NYR. I already own the black cat.

That's strange. It must have been redone as I used to have it and it was the 01 version, with the new reversible sleeve and the little booklet being the only difference.

It is indeed an anomaly as the copy i scrutinised in HMV last Friday definitely had the original non-anamorphic release in the box. You could tell by the title's spine.

That is very strange as the main reason I wanted the box is for issue 1. When I saw it was the new version I didn't bother. But I am going today and will post a pic to prove I'm not making it up.
