Will Collectors Purchase Twice ?
 

Just being really cheeky and asking the question if collectors will purchase a UK version of their imported US/Euro DVDs.

I've got no choice !!! - although it is a pleasure to have been buying them over the past three months, as I have some 'not entirely legal' Region 0 editions on New York Ripper, Killer Nun etc under my Rental Store Counter !!! :blush:

I was wondering though if 'going forward' you would be leaning to more rare product like 'Phantom Of Death' that most UK collectors may not have, rather than more common movies like 'New York Ripper' and 'Killer Nun' or in fact mixing between the two.

I'm sure there is a certain % of collectors that actually may not import DVDs, and also as you have explained with 'NYR' they may be enticed by the more 'intended' version of the film

I've double dipped onthe following-NYR,TBC,TORSO and KILLER NUN,I've sold KILLER NUN and TBC-New companies need our support-good luck to you guys:cool:I'll be collecting the lot:)

You see 'Wegies have taste! I spent many a happy hour raking through the videos without covers in Azad on Dumbarton Road - sure fuelled my unhealthy interest in fine horror. I got Frankenstein 3D there for 99p! :)

Thanks for buying and don't forget to enter the competitions on the site to win copies - it's pretty easy to win at the moment until we get more people entering. That reminds me - I need to put up a competition for Venus in Furs!

Lol, I have double/quadruple dipped many times... I'm a consumer whore when it comes to DVDs. It's pretty sad.

The extra copies always come in handy though, if I ever lend out one, I’ll have the second/third to fall back on if I get the urge! Heh

Ive said it on another part of the forum.....How can you not complete that wonderful yellow streak through your collection???

I import most of my dvd's so when shameless comes up with something I already have then i guess I'd buy another, gotta keep the spine message together.

I am currently on a long term trashy DVD import moratorium as my good friends Shameless will complete most of my collection for me. I've mentioned buying twice (where films are cut) but what's the point? Costly and Shameless will post the cut scenes for me here........?
