I've got Venus, along with Manhattan Baby, New York Ripper, Night Train Murders and Who Saw Her Die? on Blue Underground...

...then I've got Phantom, My Dear Killer, SNFYK, + WMWIK on X-Rated Kult... gotta love those German Big Box releases!

Then I've got Torso on AWE, Black Cat on EC, and Flavia on X-Cess as a Numbered Ltd Edition... the other titles didn't really interest me much, although I am hearing good things about Oasis of Fear and may look into that one! As mentioned above I have pre-ordered Baba Yaga on SHAMELESS... so am awaiting my 1st SHAMELESS release! The pretty yellow box will stand out amongst my other titles!

Shameless Who Saw Her Die? is a few seconds longer than the us release and My Dear Killer has the credits in the right order unlike other releases.

Which footage is cut from the US release? - Or is it restored footage that wasn't available at the time the US print was constructed? I have the R0 US BU re-issue of WSHD? Which (I'm guessing) would have been taken from the original R1 AB release, which is now OOP. Alternatively, is it just the PAL vs. NTSC difference that accounts for it?

It is restored footage not on the AB/BU disc. Almar can explain it better than me.

Had a scout about... am still getting used to the forum layout and found this description of the missing footage from Reaper72: "Longer stabbing sequence and lingering shot over the menu in the restaurant......"

The addition of footage, plus the superiority of the PAL format may convince me on this one... cheers loops.

The Shameless Venus is the Dallamano version the BU disc is the Franco version.

Well I never knew that... see that's what happens when you think you own most of titles on a new label... you end up ignoring things without realising!

Thanks again loops, I feel like you're becoming my personal Shameless guide!

Anyone have an account over at Rewind/DVDCompare?

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=7998

As their comparison makes no note of the extra footage in the shameless release.
