Tbh i can't imagine Fox's R1 DVD being beaten and i'd now much rather see the film on BR sooner or later.

The only reason I hold onto the R1 disc, is for the extras. Not a fan of the artwork and the film has an audio glitch which annoys the hell out of me (it isn't present on the R4 disc).

"Talking to Zuzu was like masturbating with a cheese grater - slightly amusing but mostly painful!"

Robert Englund's initial appearance in the movie is hilarious imo with his "'Ello, 'ello!" greeting, manic high-pitched laugh and grin together with those martial arts moves!

Also, what about David Patrick Kelly as the flasher "fanatical red-headed fan" Sam The Sleazebag?

Lauren Holly's pretty hot too imo.

One mad movie that I have a strange affection for. I love the OST especially the tracks by Yello (one of the many music artists that I got into through Miami Vice).
This thread has got me thinking; where the hell is my region one disc?

"I coulda been a fisherman. Fishermen, they get up, they fish, they sell fish, they smelt fish. Reminds me of this girl I used to go with, Yvonne, she smelled like fish".

She is!

"Your secretary sounds quite special - I look forward to raping her at your funeral!"

Billy Idol was initially cast as Smiley but was replaced by Englund after becoming incapacitated by a motorcycle accident.

"You're breaking me 'eart. What's the point?"

Englund is fantastic in the film.

I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Smiley, Englund is terrific.
