But, which artwork do you prefer? Let us know which one you'll be displaying and vote for your fave above.

Do you prefer the new artwork on the front?

Or does the new old-school artwork, inspired by the VHS era on the reverse get your vote?

Let us know your thoughts...

Martin Scorsese's classic film Mean Streets starring Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel is out NOW on UK Blu-ray and DVD for the first ever time. Visit here to pre-order this impressive release.

Number 2 I prefer it looks better

Great choice, BOF! That's the one I voted for too - although it was a toughie.:gangster:

Definitely number 2.

The first one almost gives the impression of a Sin City type approach with it's splashes of red in the black and white.

Second one for me too, can't vote off my phone, but that's the one I'll be voting for next time I'm on a computer and the one I'll be displaying on my BD

Got my copy today. As nice as the new artwork is, I had to go with the classic Mean Streets artwork on the reverse. Plus, stuff always looks cooler without all those ratings logos.

Like Stephen, I also received my copy today and will stick with the classic artwork, no matter how much I like the new design.

I also think it is a perfect representation of De Niro in the film, but I've always loved the classic, original, artwork.

Despite my earlier post i'm sticking with the new artwork.

Partly because when you turn the dvd cover round it only works by flipping the dvd tray so it's on the wrong side when you open the case.

Besides once it's shelved i'll only see the spine which works better with the new art in my opinion and makes the title stand out more.

I'm confused. What has flipping the artwork got to do with the tray in the case?

Maybe the DVD sleeve is different from its Blu-ray counterpart.

It's upside down. Meaning when you open the case the disc is on the left hand side rather than the usual right hand side.

We all have our little pet hates.
