Default The Brute (1977)

Is there a UK DVD release of this film?

The US Trinity DVD seems incomplete; :-(

Brent Walker (UK pre-cert video) = 85m 51s (PAL)
Trinity (USA DVD) = 83m 38s (NTSC)

The Brute (Trinity, USA)

According to DVDCompare, the Trinity Home Entertainment version has no cuts (83:38 NTSC)

Rewind @ www.dvdcompare.net - Brute (The) (1977)

I had the old precert & own the R1 dvd which I added to REWIND & I don't recall anything noticeable missing. The BBFC cut a sex scene which seems intact in the dvd & the 'Rabbit' scene is also included.

So why did the OP (from that link I posted ) say it was incomplete?

It looks like the only release we'll get in the near future so the choice is yours. The violence was intact, plus the rabbit killing & sex scene cut by the BBFC. I don't have the precert anymore or any videos for that matter. If the US release was shorter in the first place then it would be listed as still uncut on REWIND. The same as the case with CHATO'S LAND where they got the US 'PG' version, while the rest of the world had the longer 'International Version'. As only the 'PG' version was released theatrically stateside, it's listed as uncut on REWIND, even though it features an alternate 'clothed' rape scene & loses the indian burning/subsequent mercy kiling & some violence.
