I wouldn't say 'IMHO' was 'slang' Loop's, more a recognised abrevation mate.
(Forgive spelling)

Back in the 70's it was also used to mean 'F*** The World'.

But still banning mate, so not that lenient.

I still think a 15 cert will unfortunately hurt sales of this great wee film.

I for one hate to see a white circle among the red mass on my shelves. I have actually put a film I wanted back on the shelf because it was a 15 cert.
I would rather the company put it out at 18 or added 18 rated trailers to bring it up.
IMHO the 15 cert & 18 cert should be changed for a 16, like Holland and other parts of Europe. with 18 being left for sex films only.

I only buy 15's in wrestling.

Recently the games industry showed us how outta touch and antiquated the UK rating system is , but still the BBFC insist on a useless/pointless age as an offical cert.

A 16 max would be a big boost to small Cult labels releasing films like Amersterdammed as sales would be better with the 16 cert , as a 15 can come across as a school age.

I hope it does well though, but for me, the 15 makes this desirable Dutch treat a no no.

Whatever makes you believe that? The 15 certificate will actually increase its sales.

If you disagree with buying films simply because of the lower rating then you may as well give up buying UK DVDs permanently.

Friday The 13th will soon be re-rated 15 and Halloween is bound to follow suit shortly. Many of the former video nasties will also receive lower certificates. 5 already have, and films such as Blood Feast, Pranks and Dead And Buried may well be next in line.

Rest In Pieces and Edge of the Axe could also get a 15 now.

I enjoy these downgradings myself.
