I saw Pulp Fiction 8 times at the pictures (this was 1994 when a film would play the cinema for weeks). For me it was the Easy Rider of my generation...

I couldn't possibly estimate how many times I've seen it since as it's most definitely my favourite film, I even have the BMF wallet like Jules(actually Tarantino's own wallet), bit tatty now as I've had it for years. Only film of his I'm not keen on is Deathproof, just didn't do anything for me really

I have the ones I want on BD (I'm not interested in Death Proof or Inglorious Basterds and I'm hanging fire for a Kill Bill set with them as The Whole Bloody Affair), so will also exercise some self-control and not double-dip.

I didn't see it at the cinema but, when I was in hospital aged 14 or 15, a doctor lent me the video and it's been one of my favourite films since. I've also seen it countless times and know the dialogue word for word. I consider Jackie Brown to be a better film, but Pulp Fiction is just more fun!

+ 1 for Jackie Brown, probably my favourite of his. I like Tarantino and enjoy his films, but never enough to own them. I don't know why, but I guess it's because they're so hugely derivative of other films (which he waxes lyrical about). Not a great reason as many films are derivative, I've just never felt the urge to own any of them. I did watch Kill Bill a fair few times though and am looking forward to part 3.

I prefer Jackie Brown to Pulp Fiction too. I'm not sure which of his directorial efforts I like best (close call between Jackie and Reservoir Dogs) but True Romance is definitely my favourite of those he's associated with.

Amusingly, there exists the idea that Donny Donowitz AKA The Bear Jew from Inglourious Basterds is the father of the movie producer Lee Donowitz in True Romance and if you take all of these connections to mean they exist on the same Tarantino Movie Universe then True Romance, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction all exist in a world where Hitler was assassinated during World War II! |

Yeah. He also uses his own brand of products in a lot of the films too - Red Apple cigarettes for example.
