It's the best tagline I've ever read, even better than "Where whores meet saw" from Torso |

Nothing new from Shameless, then? Seems like they're incredibly inactive at the moment. Will they be releasing anything new? Does anyone know? |

If they were to release Suspiria surely they'd have put it out by now. I do wonder if the whole HMV thing delayed releases while they figured out a new system or online shop? Maybe the cost of titles has been a major factor too, we know that some rights holders want £20,000 for their titles. |
I wouldn't be bothered if they didn't release anything until the summer, but not telling us anything is mighty frustrating, and saying "news coming soon" doesn't count for anything more than a fob off |
Agree with Rik. As this is supposedly Shameless' forum a simple statement on the state of play would be appreciated. :) |
1 Attachment(s) They have a new title up for pre-order on their Argent label so I wonder if they're focusing on that label instead? http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Deadly-S...s=ARGENT+FILMS |

It's another former Nouveaux title. I expect everything they announce in the future will come from that catalogue (which is no bad thing but I'd rather they shifted back to releasing rare stuff like FOOTPRINTS) |

Guest House Paradiso, just to throw everyone off |
Yeah, I'm sure Shameless are considering a move into comedy  |

Have they gone dormant due to low sales of their blu-rays? Probably help if they released uncut features in the format. |

It seems the HMV website will be up and running soon so you never know, Shameless might rise from their slumber. |
It does seem strange that most of Shameless's revenue comes from highstreet sales, in this day and age almost everyone I know buys their DVD's and Blu's online. I always kinda thought people would do the same with Shameless and Arrow titles, if only to avoid 'those' looks from the counter staff. It's like buying an adult title and saying it's for a friend! |
You're not wrong there! For me though the incentive for online buying is the massive price difference between online and in store. I've always found it easy to resist impulse buys in hmv because of that. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2 |

I remember eye rolling from the shop assistant when I bought Oasis of the zombies and Zombie Lake dvds so I can imagine the grin when buying that! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2 |
Ha! I remember buying Silence of the Lambs and Child's play on vhs in Virgin in Stirling when I had my eldest daughter in the buggy...the look I got from the sales assistant.... |
Same when I rented the VHS of Cronenberg's Crash from Blockbusters when it came out, the guy serving me looked at me and said something along the lines of "So you're renting Crash eh, you sick or summat?", I replied with "Yes thanks" and walked out, his face was a picture  |
So imagine the looks you'll all get when Shameless finally do release SS Experiment Camzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sorry can't even type it without falling asleep. |

when he was looking at DVDs in a shop, only to turn around to some woman giving me the evil eye! |
I remember getting similarly funny looks from the shop assistants in HMV when buying Land of the Dead, The Devil's Rejects and Switchblade Romance in their three DVDs for twenty quid offer a few years ago. :D |

Back in the day of buying video cassettes I ordered a sell thru tape of David Cronenberg's Shivers in Boots. I received the usual phone call to say that the tape was there to be picked up only to be greeted at the counter by the shop assistant saying that she had taken it upon herself to watch the first 10 mins of the tape and found the content to be vile and sickening. I don't to this day know what was more disturbing, her taste in films or the fact that they were obviously allowing their staff to watch ordered tapes before giving them to the people who paid for them. |

I bet those customs boys amassed quite a collection of free horror tapes back in the day |
Guess I'm the odd one out here then: I bought the likes of House on the Edge of the Park and Cannibal Holocaust (shameless editions) from my local HMV and none of the nearby staff cared! Usually a couple of them that I talk to just engage me in friendly conversation about my purchases. In fact, the only time I remember a negative reaction was when I bought The first two Bronx Warriors and the "Fulci box of terror" boxset where they said "You've picked the worst ones available". :pound: |
