I'm not bothered. Mountain is one of my least favourite cannibal films and certainly my least favourite Martino film. I'm much more interested to see what they do with opera |
As is Typical with Shameless they announce Opera and Cannibal God goes through the BBFC but we hear nothing about their future releases. Has any news on either slipped out somewhere? |

Yep, still cut and featuring the usual awful artwork we’ve come to expect from Shameless these days  |
2mins 1sec for “six scenes of animal cruelty” I can dig it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I wonder if they’ve ever found the HD master of Dellamorte Dellmore that they said didappeared, hence the reason they never put it out on blu-ray..... [emoji57] |
I hate cut films as much as the next man but I can deal without watching animal cruelty if that's all the cuts are. |
There is a upload on youtube of The Mountain of the Cannibal God its the uncut version, why cant shameless release it uncut when other films that have far worse in it been released?? |
Well at least they aren't lying and put a great big censored across the cover. I'd stick with my Blue Underground dvd because frankly, it's just not a very good film. |
New Shameless Releases Coming Very Soon! 1 Attachment(s) Quote:
Because the BBFC use The Cinematograph Films (Animals) Act 1937 to determine what constitutes animal cruelty on film. On reading it, and as per the BBFC’S site, they say that the act covers films shown in cinemas....but they apply it to dvd and blu-ray releases as well (which is bullshit tbh, as they all but admit that technically, they don’t have to remove such things from home video releases!).
