Both artworks are a hundred times better than the current UK dvd artwork.

I don't get it. Both have been released in nice editions in the UK already. Seems like a waste, when there's still so many unreleased movies Shameless could release.

Would have liked something a bit less represented on dvd currently but I'm still happy with these. Again, even if they have decent dvd releases over here (or elsewhere) there's still going to be a lot of the high street contingent of buyers who see the yellow box on the shelf (or HMV display or whatever) and buy it, arguably more so than the current releases of those films.

I'm just relieved that they are releasing 'new' Shameless titles after the recent wave of reissues. Good to see the company isn't on its last legs as I initially feared.

Me too, with all the boxsets and reissues recently, I was thinking they were on their arse

I haven't seen either of these, so will definitely add both DVDs to my (nearly complete) Shameless collection.

That is the same image that was used by Vestron for the old UK rental VHS. I have to say, I really like it.

Too plain for my liking.

The House With Laughing Windows is one of my favorite films so I would have loved to see a blu release but I'll still pick both of these up.

Strange licenses for a company that has been quiet for so long. I'll probably pick them up, knowing Shameless they will be great transfers (It rarely seems talked about but sometimes a lot of Shameless releases show more image in the actual frame than some of my previous BU versions). I would have prefered House to be a Blu-ray release, but I'll make do.

I'd never even heard of Amsterdamned until it was mentioned in the prediction topic, but I like what it represents, and find myself quite confounded by those seeming to take issue that it isn't Italian. I'm happy they're taking the first step, and that gems from other countries that fall in line with Shameless' catalogue could be potential releases in the future, personally. I've always wanted to get into Krimi, hint hint.

But damn! this one is great as well, and think I prefer it....
But they're both utterly awful! Tacky and fussy and like the worst of 80s VHS art. The current/classic artwork is magnificent and stylish - like the film itself.
