True, but have you seen the cover, it's all very "Twilight"/"True Blood", just the kind of trash that sells by the bucket load on DVD. That's the "Dylan Dog" dvd, not the Shameless one which will no doubt be breasts!

... of which Anna Falchi has marvellous examples. And can be seen regularly in the film. .... Look forward to seeing where the "first time on UK dvd" sticker is placed.

True. Maybe Shameless should go down the same route if they need the cash that badly, make all their new releases look like Twilight ...

Also for most people this will upscale and will look a LOT better than releases of a few years ago. I am often surprised just how good upscaling is

Pretty please Shameless, give it it's proper title. I've always hated the Americans (and UK) calling it Cemetery Man. It's a terrible title. Don't pander to Joe Public. Dellamorte Dellamore is,and always will be, a much better title.

I started my shameless collection a few months ago. I like Shameless because they have always produced titles at a reasonable price.
I think its great companies are still producing worthy dvd titles, instead of some companies that just throw in the digital copy.
I have a completely different experience. In fact, I think older films have benefited more from the HD upgrade than most new films. Films like Poltergeist that had fuzzy transfers on DVD look astounding in HD. I dislike this whole 'old films don't benefit from Blu-ray' crap that is often spewed out. It's a load of rubbish. By that notion, we should have stuck to watching 'old' films on VHS tape, as they're not worth the upgrade.

Ridiculous statement imo

I take it you haven't seen Casablanca, North by North West, Metropolis etc on blu, because they look fantastic!

Anyway looking forward to Dellamorte Dellamore...not so much Cemetery Man

People that say old films don't look better on BD either have:

1) Shitty eyes.
2) Shitty equipment.
3) Shitty discs.
4) A combination of the above.

Some of the best discs (most of which are used as reference level AV benchmarks) are North by Northwest, Psycho, 2001, Apocalypse Now, The Exorcist, The Shining, Star Wars, Back To The Future, Alien, M, Blade Runner, plus countless Criterion discs are all pre-1990 films, yet the look stunning.

ALIEN 2: ON EARTH - which hadn't been available since the VHS days - looks fooking unbelievable on blu-ray!
