Manhattan Baby is about as enjoyable as Baby's Day Out. An absolute stinker.

Default One of the best!

It's hard to rate one Lucio Fulci's masterpiece as there exist a handful of them but this movie is, according to me, one of most talented, beautiful films I've even seen coming from Italy.

Florinda Bolkan probably makes her best appearence ever and the tension in the scene with Barbara Bouchet and the child is unforgettable, the score by Riz Ortolani is superb and especially with the poweful voice of Ornella Vanoni during the films most emotional scene. Matera also makes Venice looks like a pile of crap in camparison.

I really hope for a Blu-ray release of this!

It's one of those films that I never got around to seeing. So far, I've not got a copy but guess I will at some point.
The Zombie films are by far my favourite of his, that I've seen. Four of the Apocalypse is pretty good. Conquest is a total stinker. Should have been called "Smog"

Don't Torture A Duckling is a great film. I've only seen it once - when the (excellent) Shameless disc was released. For the first few moments it didn't feel like Fulci - as I was expecting something like City of the Living Dead or The Beyond. But the movie's moody settings, a great script, and some very talented actors made this a very positive surprise.

Highly recommended.

Greetings!

I'm fond of it, but Duckling isn't my favorite. It's a little slow (not as slow as the ponderous Seven Notes, which I simply can't get into, no matter how many times I try and watch it), and doesn't touch A Lizard In a Woman's Skin as my top Fulci giallo.
