My Fulci Meter =

1) The Beyond
2) ZFE
3) House By the Cem
4) City of the Living Dead
5) New York Ripper
6) Don't Torture a Duckling (its been a very long time though!)

Haven't seen Lizard but I will put that to rights someday soon!

The only other film of his I've seen is Silver Saddle which has an annoying Bob-like character but is otherwise an entertaining Spag Western.

Zombie Flesh Eaters and City of the Living Dead are my Fulci faves too.The Beyond - while it's not a bad film - I've always found overrated. For me, CotLD has more atmosphere.House by the Cemetery is my least favourite of his quartet of famous horrors; although it's still atmospheric and delivers gore by the bucketful.

Interesting! I've always found the misty Louisiana setting of The Beyond to be extremely atmospheric, more so than CotLD. Its all subjective though huh
Demoncrat likes this.

I watched dont torture a duckling on the blue underground release, but I didnt like the english dub. So I just ordered the shameless for the italian track and subtitles. So I hope I´m in for a pleasant surprise
Is the italian dub preferrable for you who have seen it?

otherwise I would rate new york ripper as fulcis most fun to watch giallo. Not mysterywise or as the most atmospheric, but thanks to all the sleaziness.
