I'm not gone at all on LOADED GUNS and COLD BLOODED BEAST.

MANHUNT (aka LA MALA ORDINA) and CALIBRE 9 are definitely the two to check out first
Is To Be Twenty the one with Gloria Guida? Been wanting to see that one for a long time.

Is Fulcis Contraband still only available on import from BU or is there an R2 version?

There's a Dutch release on the Italian Shock Cinema label but it is cut. The code-free US disc is the best version.

Cheers, Paul.

I do have The Boss ( again on Raro ) and it is excellent. I think I'll go for Kidnap Syndicate next - thanks for the recommendations.

By the way, I like Cold Blooded Beast - but maybe that's something to do with the 'Neri' factor!

The Scandinavian release from Another World is the one to get, it's uncut, in english, and has a nice doc on Fulci (with english subs)

I'd love to see it with it's original Italian soundtrack.

I like Loaded Guns (Andress is really fun to watch here!),just don't expect too much.
Also really like the crazy over-the-top Live Like A Cop, Die Like A Man.

No so fond of Kidnap Syndicate myself...
Il Boss is great though!

As well as the ones mentioned here, I enjoyed Violent City with Charles Bronson.

Also, Almost Human is available on Thai DVD which is probably not as good quality as the US release but is a cheaper option (I own this one and the quality's not bad):

eThaiCD.com, Online Thai Music-Movies Store :: The Executioner [ DVD ]

Not crime per se, but I love HITCH-HIKE -great flick with Franco Nero and the lovely Corinne Clery star as a troubled, bickering couple who pick up David Hess's nut-job. Well worth watching and it has a great Morricone score.

Mario Bava's excellent RABID DOGS (aka KIDNAPPED) - this is superb.

I watched Hitch Hike last week for the first time Paul. I was totally impressed by this film. I'm really not a fan of Last House style flicks, but this was something totally different. Nero playing a drunk was great and as you said Hess is amazing.

If you watch the AB UK dvd Nero had actually broken his hand/wrist on a previous film so they had to have him "fall" in Hitch Hike to explain the bandage and why he doesn't drive.
