Release Date Changes
 

You know the downside of raking through old tat to release on DVD is getting the materials and realising that it might be simpler to remake the movie rather than putting out the pile of rubble you've been handed...

To that end we're swapping the release of Ratman with Manhattan Baby. A lot more work needs to be done on Ratman to get it up to scratch (so to speak!) and whilst it is never going to be a reference disc there's more work to be done.

So the next three months look as follows:

28th January

SHAM007 - Flavia the Heretic (It's uncut!!!!)
SHAM008 - Manhattan Baby

25th February

SHAM009 - Night Train Murders
SHAM010 - The Frightened Woman (love this film!)

31st March

SHAM011 - My Dear Killer
SHAM012 - Ratman (our nemesis...)

and of course don't forget that 31st Dec sees the releases of Venus in Furs and Fulci's The Black Cat.

Certainly looks good to me and at least Shameless take the time to get the best possible versions out.

The old Salvation video of The Frightened Woman had 16 secs of cuts requested by the BBFC though apparently the uncut version was released in error. It shouldn't prove a problem now anyway. Still waiting with baited breath for Night Train Murders.
