Flicked through the IMDB page......... Perfect Shameless title

Almar, Where do you find them?
Footprints was a Marc Morris suggestion - I'd completely forgotten about it.

I hope Shameless puts out some more hard to find Giallos and don't think we need more versions of Bava, Argento or Fulci unless they are a newer and better prints/uncut versions.

best regards

DS

Well as long as the materials that have been tracked down are in good enough nick then SHAM020 will most likely be Footprints which ain't no regular Bava/Argento etc.

As long as materials can be tracked down then some more rarities would be good and whilst 2009 looks very bleak for DVD retail as we've known it there's no shortage of interesting titles that are being weighed-up by a variety of labels I'm working with - including Shameless but I suspect with the current everyone-holding-their-breath to see what happens with the economy that for the next few months there won't be much in the way of announcements on new titles from anyone - I hardly know any labels currently buying films- the Euro is horrible, the dollar not much better and if Zavvi go then that's scary (although the impact on a variety of labels is nil given their stocking of late) but let's see - if there's one thing that is clear from the past few months that is that no one knows anything!

Well that would be fantastic news. I've wanted to see Footprints for many years now.

Footprints will make an excellent end to the first Shameless collection. Really looking forward to this one.

Is this because Redemption were due to release this one back in the day? I have an old letter and Redemption catalogue from Mr Morris which lists this ( as Le Orme ) and other goodies Redemption had on their books but didn't release in the end. Satan's Slave, The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave and The Cursed Medallion, to name a few

With things the way they are at the moment financially , would it be wise to put out a film which will appeal to a very small amount of people like Footprints. ?

Maybe something with a bit more cross over appeal would make more sense financially .

Buy the rights to The Evil Dead I say. Shameless would never have to worry about finances ever again .
