For what it's worth, I have watched my review disc several times (I still have the full package preordered) and have written my review:

Watched Forbidden Zone last night. One of the most truly bizzare films I've ever seen in my life! I watched the B&W version, then read the booklet this morning, and found out the original intention for the film to be coloured after shooting. And since Elfman supervised the 2008 colour version done by Legend Films, and says it's his preferred version, I'm going to have to give the colour version a spin sometime.

I usually hate colourised black-and-white films, but this is an exception to the rule as, little like The Mist, it's almost a different film in colour.

Although the colourisation is good, I'm used to the black-and-white version so that will always be my preference.
