The late, great, David Warbeck (The Black Cat; The Beyond) delivers one of the very best performance of his career as the star of this film which had hitherto disappeared off the face of the world! Never released in UK, it is presently not available anywhere, it's cult status precedes it!

The film opens in 1960 Boston with a faceless maniac dressed as a priest who gives a little girl a doll. Only the doll escapes ... Some 20 years later, the victim Joanna - who is now wheelchair bound - is revealed as being a wealthy heiress who has funded a sports centre for paraplegics. She now plans to also donate a substantial amount of her wealth to the local church… but someone else close to her fancies the cash and will flash a razor in anyone's face to get it! Slash for Cash!

This new Shameless release is mastered from new restored HD sources in the original full widescreen film format, with English audio. Complete and uncut.

I've wanted to see this for a long time but haven't been able to buy it, so this is great news. Fingers crossed for a Blu-ray release.

Whether Formula For A Murder will be released on DVD and/or Blu-ray (...yellow-ray!) hasn't been confirmed yet, Rik. But we'll let you know as soon as it has! You'll hear it here first.

Two great announcements today. Not seen any if them but they sound like great films.

I've only seen The 10th Victim which is really enjoyable.

There were actually 2! A highly sought-after title by all accounts. Looks like Shameless had the rights for it a while back but couldn't find suitable materials.

Cult Italian cinema has sadly lost another great director recently with the passing of Alberto De Martino. Most loved for Antichrist, Holocaust 2000 and Shameless' Formula For A Murder, his films will forever live on in the collection of cult movie fans. RIP Alberto De Martino.
