Erhm, well damn, my first post on this board was a failure, that quote was supposed to be edited just to the "far out" Four Flies reference...

I would have expected this to be an Arrow release, but this is great news regardless. I've been waiting for this one in a while. It's the only classic Argento I'm still waiting for.

Brilliant Movie, Brilliant Move by Shameless!
One of the finest of Argento's early trilogy.

Here's an article that may be of use, and/or interest... (or at least might get me foot in the door... as I was too late for the Cannibal Holocaust release)

Incidentally, Four Flies is my personal favourite from Argento's 'Animal Trilogy'.

FLIES > BIRD > CAT for me.

Yup. Mine too. After taking a firm grasp of the genre with Bird, he made it his with Flies.

Out of those three,I'd tend to agree.
Prefer CAT to BIRD though......

Its been a long while since I've seen either 4 flies or cat but I remember CAT made the greatest impression on me out of the three, followed by BIRD and then 4 FLIES.

Out of curiosity, when do Shameless announcements happen? Is it directly after obtaining the rights to a film? I'm interested to know roughly when to expect this and Cannibal Holocaust. New York Ripper is looking pretty lonely over there.
