The AWE disc is in higher resultion, therefore its image file size is higher, on a 40 inch LCD it looks way better than the MYA bootleg.

Just a little heads up to let you know that Shameless have decided to put the release date back until 30 January 2012. The reasoning for this is simply that Shameless want to give you the best possible release of Four Flies on Grey Velvet and so want to spend a little more time sourcing materials - particularly the audio for which they are trying to get hold of the best possible version. While Shameless and I know many of you may be a bit disappointed with the delay, we're sure you'll appreciate that it's because they want to give you the absolute best version of this film that money can buy and doing that simply means taking a wee bit longer.

Shameless is bound to sell more units post-Christmas when all the bigger, blockbuster releases are out and forgetten about. So many titles come out between now and mid-December that smaller films would get completely lost among the Harry Potters, Marvel adaptations and other heavy hitters that are about to flood the high street. Also means that the film has a better chance of getting more coverage in the press too.  |

Funny, but I breathe a sigh of relief, the run up to this Christmas is getting more costly by the minute, don't think of it as a delay, more like a post Chrimbo pressy kinda like a January bonus.

Good things come to those who wait... Considering there are already mutiple releases, taking the time to differemtiate yours by virtue of superior quality makes perfect sense. |
