SHAM028 - Fulci's Box of Terror

SHAM028 - Fulci's Box of Terror

Hi guys,

Welcome to my first official thread on the Shameless section!

SHAM088: Fulci's Box of Terror is a triple bill of sex, violence and insanity from the Godfather of Gore: New York Ripper (longest ever UK release), Manhattan Baby and The Black Cat, released together for the first time ever!

The more observant amongst you will notice that this release skips over SHAM025, 026 and 027 but fear not, this will be rectified over the next few days!

Now, back to Fulci! As well as the three brilliant Shameless releases of his films, this definitive, collector's set includes a booklet adapted by Stephen Thrower from his definitive, highly acclaimed book, Beyond Terror - The Films of Lucio Fulci (awarded 5 stars by Empire).

In addition to this, the artwork for this limited edition set has been exclusively created for Shameless by top British poster artist, Graham Humphreys who was responsible for the UK Evil Dead and Nightmare on Elm Street posters amongst others.

SHAM028 - Fulci's Box of Terror will be released 25 October 2010 and there will be more info and more sleeve images, as well as info on the individual films coming soon!

You can't beat a bit of artwork by Graham Humphreys (do you hear me Sony? with your terrible Night of The Creeps dvd/BD covers!)

Apart from the booklet, Is this just the existing releases in a new box or is there new artwork for the 3 titles?

Why does it have to be No.28?

Can't it be some obscure number.

the reason being is that I (and I'm sure loads of others on here too) have them in numerical order so the spines all match up.

This to me ruins the flow.

Hell, I've already bought three titles I wouldn't have bought because of this.

It is the existing releases. But there is one new piece of artwork. It's not ready to be revealed yet though so I'll keep you in suspense...

Well... I'm betting it will be for NYR, as the other two titles already have reversible sleeves. ;)
