I normally shop in the one shop due to loyalty , especially on release day, even though all new release PS3 / X360 games are £49.99 and £39.99 , even though a shop , maybe 5 doors away , were always £10 cheaper per game .
I got all my EA Sports range for £49.99 when I coulda got them else where for a tenner per game.
Only 2 of the oridginal staff are left now , and the new replacements know little to nothing about games, especially ones yet to be released yet, so im starting to look else where for my new games and im amazed at how cheap some games are in other stores , new and pre owned.
I've always shopped there since it opened and was on first name terms with all the staff, but now with only the 2 left who use my name I dont feel obligated to pre order or shop there exclusively .
I recently bought 2 games at another store for £39.99 and checked my usual were the games i'd bought were £49.99 & £44.99. I'd a spent 15 quid extra just because I felt obligated to because they used my name.

I'll be keeping my eye on this thread as I think i've wasted enough money paying extra for games just because the guy at the till called me by my name.
Thanks for the great help so far, I hope everyone benifits as well as I will and get cheaper games.

HMV are having a great sale on everything .
They have Wii games from £10.
The PS3/X360 Sales pretty good to , with NFS Most wanted only £17.99 to name just one example.

All the SALE games are listed on their web site.

I normally buy games from Computer Exchange (CEX); they're everywhere and I like how I can pick up a 2nd hand game, play it and then trade it in for something else. Anyone else go there?

We dont have one in Belfast which is a pity as it sounds like a good place, but most games stores here run trade in schemes, even HMV, though some pay more than others, in one case I was offered £7 trade in at GameStop and £17 in at GAME for the same game.
