Unfortunately I got rid of my PC after having a lot of trouble with it , and getting ripped off in a repair shop which eventually closed with the owners taking all the PC's people had left in with them , so I browse with my PS3 Web Browser so I cant down load those games.
I came across a few sites like that Vince and the titles available were fantastic . Real classics.!

I partitioned my PC drive and run Windows 98 one side & 2000 the other. The old DOS/Windows games/progs etc run perfectly on the 98 side. No need for DosBox that way.

I still have Bleem somewhere which plays PS1 games on a PC.

Thats above my head Noss.I know bugger all when it comes to working a PC, We had a family PC i bought outta PC world a few years ago and every time I used it I had to get my mate to help me get back to the windows. I just could never do it. Im just happy enough be able to browse the internet without a PC.
Apart from being able to play flash games I dont see any other benifit, (For Me) plus i've heard Linux has'nt many users, becides , I get lost round PC interfaces, I find the X Bar easy to use and when im searching im used to Google.

Have you done it to yours yet.?

Whats Amazon like to buy of.?

I finally tracked down an Atari Jaguar and all the games I want for it but they claim they're new yet the console was released 1994 ish.
Thats the bit that puts me of buying from them as they claim to have so many genuine new , unopened units, as theres been rumours of chinese made replicas that sell for 20 quid if you can find em, being passed of as oridginals, that and the fact that one of the games, A v P, is 100 quid new or 55 pre owned.
Are the sellers reputal as i'd be getting rid of one of my current gen consoles to help fund my purchase.

I had a burst of retro madness recently and fired up Age Of Empires and Age Of Kings. Wonderful stuff. Together with Rise Of Nations these are among my fave RTS games and still fun now.

I've also got the old Windoze versions of Civilization, Caesar, Centurion etc. Anyone else remember these with affection?

I tried the console version of Civilisation but could'nt get to grips with it , which is a real pity as i'd love to be able to play RTS games as those games you mention Vince all look fantastic, especially the Age of Empires and its add on's.

Went back and played the original Silent Hill the other day. Managed to get both good endings, both bad endings and the special UFO ending so I'm pretty pleased with myself.

Excellent game! Can't wait to play through the second again now! ^ ^
