I recently got the Megadrive collection for the PS3. It's got a bunch of the Sonic games on it as well as the three Streets of Rage games. As much as I've enjoyed playing them it's quite frustrating to play these things and realise that I'm not as good at games as 12 year old Matt was.

I haven't set it up since I moved but I do still have a working SNES. I love the Mario games and have a few Ninja Turtles games.

I find most of the older games alot harder than those todays super consoles can offer.

Retro gaming is becoming more popular today with a good portion of the gaming comunity interested in consoles only as far as the Neo Geo or 3DO.

You should Loop's, gaming's fun when your not watching films, besides Duke Nuke em's a classic, though , although far less advanced than Duke , I always prefered the older Wolfenstien 3D.

Oh Shi-.

I picked up Spellcaster a few weeks ago, I'd forgotten how frustrating it was.

Psycho Fox is a forgotten classic that should be given a next gen remix, it was so much better than it's spiritual sequel Decap Attack.

I never came across it Vince, the PC ruled for FPS back in the day, the consoles weren't really up to running them , the next FPS out on console back then was DOOM (Jag).

The new Wolfenstien ( PC/PS3/360) looks amazing though, but id software haven't set a release date yet, saying only " that it will be out when its finished."

A great PC game from around the time of DOOM that made it onto the 3DO is Quarantine. Its described as DOOM in a Taxi in a city gone mad.
A great game that really sucks you in. Highly Recommended.
