The game was quite expensive but not impossible to find on Feebay mate. Around 5-6 years ago my copy was stolen so i decided to take the hit and spend £10 on a new copy because i knew it would go up to silly prices in the future. Still on a good day you will get a copy for around £15... not bad. the question is will you want the original PS1 mouse to play the game or will you use the controller? lol.

Recently the other half and i went to Wolverhampton for a retro gaming weekend (Revival expo) and whilst there we played some House of the Dead 2 on the Dreamcast. The other half enjoyed it so much we picked up the guns and the game for £20, the only problem was our RF cable... so i went to Feebay for an RGB connection (£3 inc postage) and now we have a nice setup. I have the R1 console so i will 'Borrow' a copy of Typing of the dead and see what she makes of that too as we have a keyboard.

Nice pick up Vipp. I love the dreamcast, it's such a great system with so many fun games. I don't really have time for adventures with big stories anymore so the Dreamcast is great with all it's pick up and play arcade style games.

Is your system modified? You say a R1 console, I'm guessing meaning American, but it has the blue logo. The blue is PAL systems, NTSC has a red logo. My Dreamcast is PAL but modded to play any game worldwide, so I guess you have the same.

I own several old game consoles like the Atari 2600 wood veneer and 2600 jr.

But I also like older pc games like this one, much much better (and it could have even been fantastic if the developers would have had more time and the game wasn't rushed out without manual) than the shooter that followed a couple of years later imho.

Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy (2000)

Btw keep your formation thight and use all of the cannons of the fort.

Was this a real game...

...or is it something modern that has been made in an 80's style?

Looks like something that someones made recently in a retro style.
Quite entertaining though.

The irony is that would have sold bucket loads, but no way would the half naked sis make into in a mainstream release, it's modern as it moves too smooth and fast for a 8bit game, Splatter house or Elvira or Castlevania are your best bet for Halloween retro gaming fun.
