Never got a hold of a C64 until I started work at 16.
Bought a second hand one from a mate and all his games.

Kept me off the piss (sometimes) on a Thursday or Sunday night!

Up until then we had an Acorn Electron which went through a wee uprising in the mid-late eighties due to Dixons selling them for £99!

The graphics capabilities were actually quite good.

All my mates had Spectrums, and although they had the biggest game range by far, those 'seethrough' graphics were shite.

Rich ***** or spoiled brats got an Amstrad.....

This was class as well!

One of my all-time favourites, and another superb Martin Galway soundtrack.

Keep looking at the Commodore ones.
I need a classic console in my Batcave.
Anyone with a laptop or a PC has access to loads of old games console and computer emulators.
